Welcome to the 29th Annual Fade In Awards. We’ve created nine distinct contests for you to enter, specifically tailored to the genre or format of your project. Submit a script, web series or short film to the Fade In Awards True Story/Biopic Contest. The Fade In Awards True Story/Biopic Competition is open to aspiring screenwriters and TV writers of screenplays and teleplays based on true stories, and filmmakers of web series and short films based on true stories. Judges are looking for award-worthy, prestige material featuring amazing minds doing amazing things, perhaps even misunderstood by society (e.g., The Imitation Game), and ironic stories about extraordinary lives (good and bad).
