Frank grew up in New York City and Tokyo. His screen credits include Cold Pursuit, starring Liam Neeson and Laura Dern, and Big George Foreman, starring Khris Davis and Forest Whitaker. His television credits include the Showtime series Your Honor, starring Bryan Cranston, and AMC’s 61 st Street, starring Courtney B. Vance. Frank has written scripts for Paramount, Sony, DreamWorks, Lionsgate, New Regency, TriStar, Screen Gems, and StudioCanal. His first novel, Balling the Jack, was published by Simon & Schuster and was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection. His second, Jake & Mimi, was published by Little, Brown. He’s a graduate of Hamilton College in upstate New York, and credits his nomadic years of bartending, construction, copy editing, and pizza delivery as formative influences on his storytelling.

FIRST-ACT MAGIC | ONE-ON-ONE SESSION

An old truth of screenwriting holds that a problem in the third act is usually a problem in the first. Frank will read the first act of your screenplay (30 pages), and then go through it with you, scene by scene, in a 60-minute session. How well are you hooking the audience? How compelling is the world of the story? Are we living and dying with the moves of your hero? Frank will tell you what’s working and suggest fixes for what isn’t.
